With the Snöpendeln local buses, you can continue your journey from the railway station to Klövsjö. The timetable of Snälltåget also allows you to plan for a short week or weekend.

Fly to Åre Östersund Airport for a quick arrival. The flight time from Stockholm is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Several airlines offer direct flights from major cities such as Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Berlin, and London. From the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to cover the remaining distance of ten kilometers to Klövsjö.

If you choose the car, there are many great stops to make along the way. A trip from Stockholm starting on the E4 highway is approximately 470 kilometers. For those driving an electric car, there is a well-developed charging infrastructure along the way, and we have 8 charging stations in the hotel’s parking area. In the village of Klövsjö, there are also two fast chargers.

For those arriving by train or plane, there are several transfer options available. Please note that if you arrive by the night train Snälltåget to Vemdalen and have booked a ticket to Klövsjö ski area, a transfer bus is included during the winter season. The connecting bus journey from the station to Hotell Klövsjöfjäll takes approximately 20 minutes.
With the direct bus service Härjedalingen, you can travel year-round from Stockholm to Klövsjö/Vemdalen. The journey takes approximately 7.5 hours, with a stop for refreshments.

During the winter season, there are local buses operating between Klövsjöfjäll and Vemdalen. The so-called “Snöpendeln” serves Björnrike, Vemdalen by, Vemdalsskalet, Storhogna, Klövsjö skidområde, Klövsjö by, and Röjan station. The current timetable will be available soon.
Taxi Klövsjö/Vemdalen offers taxi services in the area around the clock, all year round. When you book your transfer at least 48 hours prior to arrival or departure, you will receive a more favorable fixed price.
