Receptionist at Hotel Klövsjöfjäll
With us, you’ll get to work at a cozy mountain hotel in Klövsjö, Jämtland, with the mountains right outside the door and guests who come to us for skiing, golf, hiking, relaxation, good food, conferences, and wonderful days in the mountains.
We are currently looking for a receptionist to start as early as this fall, with the possibility of extending the position through the winter and beyond.
As a receptionist with us, you’re an important part of the hotel. You’re often the first person our guests meet and the one who helps them have the best possible stay. Your responsibilities will include check-in and check-out, reservations, handling phone calls and emails, sales, and assisting our guests with everything from the big things to the little details during their stay.
The position also includes conference responsibilities, in which you will serve as a key point of contact for our conference guests and be responsible for ensuring that their stay and the event run as smoothly as possible. Experience in conference work is therefore a major plus and a strong asset.
We're looking for someone who
- has experience working in the hotel industry, preferably at a hotel front desk
- has a good understanding of the work involved in a hotel front desk and the associated procedures
- Experience in conference work is a plus
- Knowledge of HotSoft or another reservation system is a plus
- enjoys meeting people and providing good service
- is responsible, solution-oriented, and flexible
- can work independently but also thrives as part of a team
- You find it easy to learn new systems and procedures
- stays calm even when there's a lot going on
Sales experience is also a plus. You’re not afraid to spot opportunities, recommend what we offer, and help create a great experience for both the guest and the hotel.
Language Requirements
Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for this position.
Housing
Hotel Klövsjöfjäll is located in Klövsjö, Jämtland, and we have only limited capacity to assist with staff housing.

At Hotel Klövsjöfjäll, we help each other out across departments. For those of you who want to work more and are open to taking on a variety of tasks, there is therefore an opportunity to take on a more extensive role by combining front desk duties with work in the restaurant.
We believe it’s both more fun and more effective when we’re familiar with each other’s departments and can pitch in where needed. One day you might be at the front desk welcoming our guests, and the next evening you could be part of the restaurant team.
Working hours vary and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Part-time waitstaff for the restaurant, with the possibility of more hours
Hotel Klövsjöfjäll is looking for someone who wants to join our team this fall, with a good chance to continue through the winter and beyond.
Right now, we’re primarily looking to add staff to our restaurant for evening service in our à la carte restaurant. We’re looking for someone who is sociable, service-oriented, and flexible—and who enjoys interacting with people in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the food service industry is a plus, but not required. What matters most to us is the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and that you enjoy providing excellent service to our guests.
At our company, employees work in several departments
At Hotel Klövsjöfjäll, we work together across departments. Although you’ll primarily be working in the restaurant, we’d like you to be interested in learning more about other aspects of the business.
For those who want to work more, there are therefore good opportunities to increase their hours by working in areas such as the front desk, breakfast service, conference services, or other parts of the hotel.
We are looking for someone who:

This is a part-time position, approximately 50% as a starting point, with good opportunities for increased hours for those who are willing and able to work in multiple departments.
Working hours are primarily in the evenings and on weekends.
We have some staff housing available, but we would prefer that you already have your own place in Klövsjö or are able to commute.
