Alpine Skiing
for elite athletes and beginners
Klövsjöfjäll offers the perfect conditions for world-class skiing. Together with Storhogna, we offer an interconnected ski system with trails for all skill levels, from the most experienced alpine skiers to beginners. There is a long tradition of downhill skiing here dating back to the 1930s, making Klövsjö one of the very oldest ski resorts in Sweden, developed with and for our skiers. With a SkiPass from SkiStar, you get access to all of Vemdalen’s ski areas, with a total of 35 lifts and 58 runs.
The black runs are truly world-class, and it is these that have long earned Klövsjö the nickname “the skiers’ ski resort.” Svartåshanget, Storslalom, and Supersvängen offer a challenge even to the most experienced skiers. Sometimes you can even see the national team training here.
At the bottom of the ski area, there’s plenty of space for family skiing, with a large children’s area featuring button lifts and gentle beginner slopes, a warming hut, a kids’ play area, and sunny barbecue spots. At the very top, there are several green and blue runs with plenty of sunny spots. You can take the Klövsjö Express both up and down to get there. From here, the lift also crosses to the other side of the mountain, offering even more wonderful family skiing on Storhogna’s blue and red runs.
Once you've explored all 14 lifts and 21 runs at Klövsjö, the Vemdalsskalet and Björnrike ski areas are just 20 minutes away. The same lift pass is valid there at no extra cost.
